Yaguma Lodge & Farm ("we", "us"), Kleinbegin 117, Kunene Region, Namibia, respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit this website, make an enquiry or book a stay, and how we use it.

What we collect

• Booking and enquiry details: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, travel dates, number of guests and anything you choose to tell us.
• Payment details: card payments are handled by DPO Pay on their secure page. We receive confirmation that you paid, not your card number.
• Technical information: our web host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and working.

How we use it

• To answer your enquiry, confirm and manage your booking, and contact you about your stay.
• To process payments and refunds.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.

We do not sell your information, and we don't send marketing emails unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

• DPO Pay, to process card payments.
• Hostinger, which hosts this website and its database.
• Booking.com and Airbnb receive only the dates that are booked, so the same nights aren't sold twice. No names or contact details are shared.
• Authorities, if the law requires it.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookie is a sign-in cookie for our staff dashboard.

How long we keep it

We keep booking records for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting, usually five years. Enquiries that don't lead to a booking are deleted after two years.

How we protect it

The website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), dashboard access is limited to our staff with individual passwords, and card details never reach our systems.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we're not required to keep it. Email us and we'll respond within 30 days.
